At LCBS ("Couple Budgeting") we respect your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
When you create an account we collect email and password (passwords are stored encrypted). When using the app we process transaction data you enter (amount, category, payer, date), household information (partner invite code, member count), and subscription status (access period after payment).
2. How We Use Data
Your data is used to provide the service, manage your account, send verification and invite emails, complete payments (via Stripe), and meet our legal obligations.
3. Cookies and Session
After login we use a secure cookie (auth-token) to keep you signed in. This cookie is used only for authentication and is not shared with third parties.
4. Third Parties
Payments are processed by Stripe; Stripe's own privacy policy applies. Email delivery is done via Brevo. These parties receive only the data necessary to provide the service.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on our servers. When you delete your account or upon request we can delete the relevant personal data (subject to legal retention periods).
6. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or object to processing of your data. If you are under EU/UK GDPR, these rights are subject to applicable law.
